This table was designed to first fit the space in a newly remodeled kitchen, and then to fit the style of the homeowners. At only 40" round, it provides seating for the family of four with only two chairs and provides enough room to maneuver around the new island.

The table is solid walnut on top of a single pedestal and a modern claw-foot stand. Walnut is a beautiful wood on its own, so Rubio Monocoat's Clear finish was applied to highlight the natural grain and beauty of the wood.
