This project was a follow-on project for the family in Sandy Springs with the jungle loft playhouse in the basement. The family wanted to add banquette seating under the large kitchen windows, and include storage under the seat. One bench had to work around an electrical outlet and floor air vent. The vent was rerouted using at kit from The Toe Kick Ductor, allowing us to relocate the vent to the front of the bench seat.

The bench seats and table top were made by Tim from Bungalow Woodshop using the same old-growth pine we used for the tree and railings in the basement. The top measures close to 7 ft. long and 3 1/2 ft. wide. The table base is essentially a free floating base cabinet with storage for large kitchen items.
