When Covid changed a client's work situation to being at home seventy-five percent of the time, she needed a better work environment than the kitchen table. The homeowner has two monitors feeding off a laptop, so the monitor shelf was designed to give space to tuck the laptop underneath and have two large monitors for ease of work.

The desk has a storage cabinet under the right side to keep less-used items off the desktop. It is made from red oak, finished wtih Rubio Monocoat's Chocolate finish.
