This project in Kennesaw GA, marked the first set of traditional built-ins for both myself and Tim from Bungalow Woodshop. The homeowner wanted these added on either side of the fireplace, filling up the blank voids and providing storage and display space, including space for a turntable and record collection. The bases and bookcases were installed as separate units and tied into the exisiting room with new crown moulding. The mantel was refaced with new trim to tie into the bookcases, lining up with wire access points behind the bookcase walls for hidden wires to components in the base cabinets.
